LOL Stream respects your privacy, and only use personal information to an extent that will enhance visitor experience, and provide appropriate identification in the case of improper usage of the site.

Collected personal information

  • Browsing LOL Stream - A limited set of the site's features, including browsing through certain streams, viewing user profiles, and contact the help centre, can be performed without registering an account. In this case, no information is stored.
  • LOL Stream accounts - For full access to the site's features, including the ability to comment, submit links and upload, we require that you register an account. A valid email address and password are required to secure the account. Passwords are stored in a strongly encrypted form.
  • Cookies - As a registered member, if you have cookies enabled, we will store a cookie to remember your login details for next time you visit.
  • Log information - When you register an account, submit content, make a comment, or similar actions on the LOL Stream website, our servers may record information that your browser sends, including your Internet Protocol address, browser type and date/time of the request.
  • Submitted content - Any personal information or content that you voluntarily disclose online (e.g. images, comments, your profile page) may be collected and used by others.

Publicly available information

  • Account information - When you register a LOL Stream account, some information such as your username and date/time registered may be made available to other members, but not your email address.
  • Submitted content - Any content that you submit to LOL Stream may be redistributed through the Internet and other media channels and may be viewed by other LOL Stream users or the general public.
  • Account activity - Along with the basic stats about your account, any items that you submit, favourite or comment on will be linked to your profile. These may be aggregated and presented to other users. However, views, ratings and tags will not be publicly available.
  • Public profile - Any personal information that you add to your profile, such as location or age (if you choose to display it) will be visible to other LOL Stream users and the general public

Shared information

  • Third parties - LOL Stream will not share your information with any third parties, however we are unable to stop them making use of anything which you have made publicly available. The privacy terms of our advertising partners may differ from ours.
